Pink Cocaine

Descarbomethoxy-cocaine (DC-cocaine) is an alkaloid obtained from the leaves of a plant from the coca family, native to Java, and was isolated by Giesel. DC-cocaine is a stimulant (DAT inhibitor) with approximately 35% the potency of its analogue. It is longer-acting and less toxic than cocaine. dc-cocaine is particularly prepared from atropine obtained from nightshade plants. but not anymore, No! The hydrochloride of DC-cocaine was first prepared by Lieberman; he had synthesized the DC-cocaine as the basis of the product that was not really soluble in water. In contrast to the cocaine solution, which deteriorates within a few days, the solution of the salt-dc-cocaine can be stored for several months without any decomposition occurring. Descarbomethoxy-cocaine belongs to the atropine-cocaine group due to its chemical composition.

AFTER INHALING OF DC-COCAINE: take the victim to fresh air and let them rest in a position that facilitates breathing. If the victim remains unwell, immediately consult a POISON CONTROL CENTER or a doctor.
