Descarbomethoxy-cocaine (DC-cocaine) is an alkaloid obtained from the leaves of a plant from the coca family, native to Java, and was isolated by Giesel. DC-cocaine is a stimulant (DAT inhibitor) with approximately 35% the potency of its analogue.
